This is a roll of label stickers featuring illustrations inspired by “Dark Academia.” “Dark Academia” is still relatively unfamiliar in Japan, so some of you may be hearing the term for the first time. Very briefly, it refers to a collective aesthetic and conceptual genre—imagine studying in a dim library of an old university town, like the University of Oxford on a cloudy or rainy day, or immersing yourself in dark literature such as that of Edgar Allan Poe. The theme of this piece is: “An idle afternoon study session in the library with a quiet tea break in between—perhaps it will rain on the way home.”
