Traveler’s company x Toyo travel tool box T- 190

For over 50 years, Toyo Steel has been producing high-quality metal toolboxes in Osaka. In collaboration with Traveler's Company, they have created this toolbox.

Toyo Steel is known for its seamless press processing, which results in sturdy, smooth-edged toolboxes with excellent durability and functionality. Unlike their regular products, the collaboration version of the toolbox intentionally foregoes color painting, allowing the natural texture of the steel to shine through. Additionally, it features an original logo engraving.

The T-152 size is just right for storing passport-sized refills. Besides refills, it's recommended for storing important papers or using it as a pen case. Since they can be stacked, it's also recommended to get multiple ones and organize stamps, photos, tickets, and other items separately.

The unique charm of each toolbox lies in the variation in texture that occurs during the pressing process, thanks to showcasing the natural surface of the solid steel.

The steel used in this toolbox has been coated with a transparent matte finish. As a result, wrinkles, color variations, and stains that occur during the pressing process may be visible. Over time, thread-like rust and discoloration may appear in certain areas.

Rust and discoloration will increase with prolonged use, resulting in a deeper and more nuanced patina over time.
