Partialafra’s A Chronicle of the Seasons collection draws inspiration from the passage of time and the changing seasons, transforming dates, seasons, and fragments of everyday life into a thoughtful series of rubber stamps. Delicate, free-flowing lines intertwine Chinese characters with handwritten English, giving the collection a naturally nostalgic and unstructured journaling aesthetic.
The collection features a variety of designs that can be freely mixed and matched. Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter are arranged in a continuous circle, reflecting the changing rhythm of the year, while another design follows the cycle of Budding, Flourishing, Releasing, and Returning, capturing nature’s journey from new beginnings and full bloom to letting go and returning once again. A weekly design presents the seven days in a circular composition, bringing a gentle sense of rhythm to everyday journaling.

The collection also includes a versatile set of Chinese numeral stamps, featuring 壹(one), 贰(two), 叁(three), 肆(four), 伍(five), 陆(six), 柒(seven), 捌(eight), 玖(nine) , and 拾(ten) alongside delicate handwritten English. These can be paired with another set featuring Year, Month, Day, Week, O’clock, Hour, Minute, Date, Morning, Noon, Evening, and an Ordinal Marker, allowing dates, times, weeks, and everyday moments to be recorded in countless combinations.
Another design, “THE STORY OF places, days, and memories,” brings together the places visited, days lived, and memories collected, almost like a title waiting to begin a new journal entry. Each stamp can be used on its own or layered with other designs, handwritten notes, date stamps, and collage elements to create something different every time.
