Life Writing paper ‘Bank Paper’ Notebook
"To Produce Stationery, To create culture"
Life is a Japanese company established in Tokyo in 1949. They are well-known worldwide for producing paper goods with timeless designs and superior quality. Every piece of their products is handmade and inspected to detail and highest quality, ensuring an incredible notebook.
Why is it called “bank paper”? These special papers were made exclusively for Mitsubishi Bank, currently renamed The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi by Misubishi Paper Mills. The bank required good, sturdy paper for long-term recordkeeping, that could withstand all manner of hand- and typewriting, and repeated handling. The paper was discontinued years ago, however, Life has given it a new life recently.
This elegant and classic notebook is fountain pen friendly, can handle your inky pens without feathering or bleed-through. The surface is incredibly smooth, can write comfortably with all types of pens and inks. The paper is acid-free hence able preserve your writings for many years.
